Description
The gravity gate closer hinge is a type of self-closing hinge set for chain link and tubular gates that has many advantages. These hinges do not have springs so it does not wear over time and increases the lifespan. They close easily with just gravity, without any force required. When the gate opens, the bottom of the gate is forced upwards on a slight angle, gravity pulls the gate back to the closed position. It can be adjusted at the lower portion of the hinge, to adjust the force at which the gate will close. The gravity hinge is also useful when dealing with a grade change. Since it lifts slightly when opened, if the level of the ground increases then these hinges can adjust for such conditions.
